At Anthracite Adventure LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”), we want your experience to be smooth and enjoyable. Our refund policy explains how we handle cancellations, refunds, and changes for tours booked through our website or directly with us.
1. Cancellation by Customer
If you need to cancel your tour, here’s how it works:
More than 30 days before the tour start: You can cancel and receive a full refund minus a $100 processing fee.
15–30 days before the tour start: 50% of the total tour price will be refunded.
Less than 15 days before the tour start: No refund is available.
We highly recommend booking travel insurance for unexpected emergencies.
2. Rescheduling
If you want to change your tour dates:
Requests made more than 15 days before the tour start are generally allowed, subject to availability.
A $50 rescheduling fee may apply per booking.
Rescheduling within 15 days of the tour start is usually not possible, but we will try to accommodate emergencies.
3. Cancellation by Anthracite Adventure
We reserve the right to cancel tours due to:
Dangerous weather or natural hazards.
Insufficient number of participants.
Unforeseen events or emergencies.
In these cases:
You will receive a full refund.
We will also try to offer alternative dates or similar tours whenever possible.
We are not responsible for additional costs like flights, hotels, or other travel arrangements outside the tour.
4. Non-Refundable Items
Some services may be non-refundable, including:
Deposits for private tours.
Special equipment rental fees (if applicable).
Optional add-ons purchased separately.
These will be clearly noted during booking.
5. How Refunds Are Processed
Refunds will be issued via the original payment method within 7–14 business days after approval. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take additional time to appear in your account.
